so many reasons to love Ella . . . .

Ella is such a free spirit and we are still learning how to nurture it & also direct it. She is very eccentric & artsy. She loves to be in her Daddy's arms & will make you feel like the most loved person on earth when she's with you. She is also very pron to meltdowns if she isn't well rested. I'm learning this about creative people. They seem to need a little extra rest. (maybe this excuse will work with Brock & get me some more naps :) She's got her Daddy's quick wit & dance moves and her Mommy's love of music. Her outer beauty is stunning & her inner beauty is captivating. She's a hippie & a leader. She can make you believe in her cause. I pray she uses these gifts for good & doesn't let anyone tame her. Here's a few stories of her from this week . . .

The other day Brock was putting the girls down for a nap. As he shut the door he said, "Sleep tight, girls. See you in a little while." Ella replied, "Good Night handsome Dad, see you when I get up!"

She drew a picture of our family the other day & told Brock that I was the most beautiful mom in the world & that's why she drew me with long legs! I guess the old say is true, love is blind since I'm all of 5 foot!

When she was driving me crazy the other day I looked at her and said,"Ella, you sure are an annoying kid, but I love you anyway." Her quick reply was, "Mom, you sure are an annoying grown-up, but I love you anyway!"

The other day I caught her trying to preform a C-section on Sophie with her play doctor kit and when I intervened she said, "Mom, her baby has to come out!"
