ice skating & santa

We took the youth & their parents ice skating today! Sophie & Ella couldn't wait to hit the ice, but Brock & I were a little hesitant -- thinking they were going to last all of 5 minutes & then be ready to leave. Were we ever wrong!! They absolutely, totally & completely loved it!! They stayed on the ice the entire 2 hours, except for when I made them eat a snack (the Tharpe kids have to keep that blood sugar regulated!) They quickly chowed down, got a drink & were back on the rink. I was happily surprised!! We can't wait to take them back! Hmmm, maybe we've got some little figure skaters on our hands?? :) Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get that many pictures because my little guy was sleepy & cranky! But here's what I got!

The usual "picture of a picture with Santa"! I still can't believe we have to pay $20 for a Santa shot! But it is Deacon's first Christmas & his face is priceless!! We love it! (Can you believe the largest package cost $40???!!--NO ONE in their right mind should pay that for a Santa picture!!!!) Oh well, 'tis the season so they say :)
