my hutch!
If you are my friend on facebook, then you know I have been on a long journey to find a hutch. Some were too small, some were too ugly but this one, this one was p.e.r.f.e.c.t.
My wonderful friend Barbara sent me an email last Saturday morning about this hutch on craigslist - It is a rarity that I check my email on Saturday mornings, so this was meant to be!! I immediately called the guy & told him we'd be there by noon. I took the kids to the church egg hunt while my wonderful, exceptional, good looking, big muscle husband drove for over an hour {beach traffic} to pick her up! {Yes, my hutch is definitely a her!}
Drum roll please . . . .
She fits perfectly into my southern country kitchen & she was only $50!
I can't decide if I'm going to paint her or not??! I kind of like her 'dirty' look. Looks like she's got a history. A story to tell.
I try not to stare at her too much for fear that my husband will think I've gone off the deep in, but when no one is around, I just stand & stare. I know . . . I've got problems.
