the funny thing about it

The funny thing about living here is that 2 days ago, our backyard was covered in snow & today we spent some much needed time outside in very comfortable weather. We headed to downtown for a picnic beside the battleship & the river. (for any of you One Tree Hill watchers, we ate next to the outdoor bball court from the show) As we looked across the river, Brock & I joked about how people were paying forty bucks for their food and how we were eating for free with the exact same (maybe even better) view! :) Then we took Deacon to Fit for Fun for the first time! (which I can't believe) Before he was born, we went pretty regularly with the girls, but I guess finding the time with 3 is just a little bit more difficult. Anyway, he LOVED it & would get angry when I would come around him, for fear that I would make him leave! He was so funny! And of course, the girls were so happy to finally spend some playtime, art time & science play there!







For all you Matlock watchers, this is the courthouse used in the show. I'm pretty sure its used in all the outdoor shots.
