Today, we spent the day baking . . . well, the girls & I did, Deacon was busy sneaking
M&M's from the bag . . .
We made lots of Monster cookies! These are the most delicious cookies- my sister-in-law shared the recipe with me several years ago . . . now I'm passing along the love . . .
Monster Cookies
1/2 C butter;soften
1 C sugar
1 C plus 2 tsp. packed brown sugar
2 C peanut butter
3 large eggs
1 tsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
4 1/2 C oats
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C M&M's
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
Beat butter at medium with mixer until creamy
Add sugars; beat well
Add peanut butter & next 3 ingredients; beat well
Stir in oats, baking soda, M&M's & chocolate chips; stir well {batter will be firm}
Drop onto greased cooking sheet or stone
Bake at 375 for 12-15 mins
Cool slightly on sheet; move to rack
