holidays @ the tharpe home . . .

It's my absolute favorite time of the year & I love decorating for it! Here's a little peek into our home in no particular order . . .

A lady in our church has handmade each of our children's stockings. I also love my nativity, which was given to me by a dear friend.

I saw this 'beans in a jar' idea on another blog {which I can not remember-so just know it wasn't my idea!} I had pinto beans in there for the fall & switched to northern beans for Christmas decor. {fyi: if you use them near a sink & have small children be advised that you may come home from being out of town to a bean sprouting up from your sink drain}

Just googled & downloaded this silhouette last year . . . I love this. One of my favorite pieces.

Obvious. oh, almost forgot . . . look just above the tree in the middle of the door frame . . . know what that is? yep, mistletoe! It grows in our trees! We've already been sharing lots of kisses :) The girls thought this was the coolest thing ever - they will stand under it & yell for Brock until he comes to give them a kiss.

Those are cheap-o Glad candles {because I refuse to pay crazy prices for something that you burn!} but they aren't the cutest, so I wrapped some burlap around them & secured w/ hot glue & jute twine.

The outside is still in process. . . so I'll share that soon.
Happpy decking the halls!!!!
