the last days of summer . . .

Seems like not that long ago I was typing this post about the lazy days of summer & now I'm typing the last days of summer. I have to admit, I like typing those words. I enjoy summer & the fun that it brings but I can't stand to be hot. It is my least favorite thing ever-living in southeast NC during the summer makes you this way. I never use to hate summer as much until I moved here. Here are the last few pictures I grab of our fun in the sun. I've got 1 swim diaper left that we may use at the beach sometime this week, but after that it will be time to throw in the 'ol beach towel. {haha, pun intended} Plus, fall fashion is soooo much cuter than summer - I mean who doesn't love layering??!

We are in our second week of homeschooling! yay! It is going surprisingly well! We begin with prayers each day {which is why I believe it's going so well!} This morning I forgot {was a little flustered} and mid way through had Ella pray for us. She was quick to do so - it reminded us all that we needed a little extra help today. I'll write more about our first few weeks soon . . . . {I know you can't wait for that boring post!}

School & daily routine are taking up most of our time right now & the girls will start their second soccer season this Friday. We are also working on crafts, decorations & the planning of Sophie & Ella's 6th birthday party . . . here's a little sneak peek . . .  can you guess the theme??! :)

I'm hoping that once we get a good routine going, I'll be back to blogging regularly. I love chatting with all the blogger peeps! Happy Tuesday!
