my little man . . .

I used to do these pretty regularly for my girls. They are easy ways for us to look back on these brief years of being toddlers {some of my favorite years} and remember all the cuteness of them. I realized today that I had never done one for my little man, so here goes . . .

Deacon you are 26 months old & very silly! You will do anything for a laugh {even when the end result is a minute in time out!} I laugh when you can't see me.
Your favorite things at the moment are: basketball, going on a car ride {you say "I ride!"}, basketball, sneaking around to eat candy, baseball, water, playing dinosaur, basketball, chalk, cheese . . . and did I mention basketball??! I'm starting to wonder if I should be concerned with your obsession with it but you can't help it- it's in your genes.

You adore your sisters and they adore you. They are very quick to aid you in anything {even if you don't want their help}. You play well with them; whether you three are building blocks, racing cars or playing with the doll house. You call them "Lella" and "Tofie." You refer to yourself as "Deac Deac " and "Moma's Guy."

When you get very excited about something, you dance! It is the funniest, really, the funniest dancing I've ever seen - you move your arms in the most uncoordinated, sporadic movements possible and it is hilarious!

You love to write. Everything that you write, you call an "e." I have no idea why?! But you concentrate very hard & you are very precise in your markings.

My heart swells at just the thought of you.
I pray that you grow to be just like your Daddy.


You are all boy in every sense of the word.You constantly keep us on our toes.
Our family is better because of you. We're so glad you are ours.

Score! He is also sporting his usual look- Just can't keep this kid out of the dirt, but I wouldn't have it any other way.}
