discontent: a restless desire or craving for something one does not have.

Hello, my name is Bethany and I have furniture discontentment. I also have blog discontentment. Now, I realize in the broad scheme of things, my discontentment with my furniture & my blog is a very minuscule thing and I should probably be a little ashamed to admit that my quest to figure out how to make my own header has been the cause of several sleepless nights. If I have to read one more css definition {or ccs, I don't even remember} or click edit my html one more time, I think I may just lose my mind.

So, if any of you reading know how I could do this or know how I could alter the margins for a photo header, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Until then, I like the clean, white background, I just feel I need a cool, eye catchy header to literally, top it all off.

Moving on . . . here's my furniture dilemma:

This lovely little piece of plastic resides smack in the middle of

this wall . . . which happens to be the largest wall in my kitchen.

This is what I've come up with for the time being. A flea market buffet table, a mud room bench{painted} and some cute finds on top. But, as I've stated above, I'm very discontented {is that even a word?} with it.

In my dreams {I'm not even joking that I've dream about this}, this beautiful, breath taking piece of wood is what lives in my kitchen. So, if anyone would like to make a donation, I'm totally open to that. ;)

But that still doesn't fix that fact that the light switch is still in the most inconvenient place it could be in. What's a girl to do?

I recently say post on a decor site I read where the girl drew out her own measurements, went to Lowe's & they cut everything for her. So that got me thinking, maybe I could do this? I'm a closet wanna be architect & have already designed our dream house, so it couldn't be that hard to design a rectangle shaped cabinet, right??
