kiss and tell . . .

I know I said no posting during the move, but I use this blog as a memoir for our family- and I had to share and remember this story:

Yesterday morning as I was helping Ella get ready for church she said, "Mom, let me tell you about my dream last night." This is a usual event in our mornings- the girls are always eager to share their crazy dreams. I said ok, and let her continue, " Well, I was in Narnia -- side note: every dream is about Narnia these days since that is what Brock reads to them every night---
and Lucy & Peter were there and . . . . . (pause) . . Mom, you and Dad are not gonna like this next part" . . . as she pulls her dress over her head. "What," I asked, " Peter didn't kiss you did he?"
Giggles follow, along with her dress shaking up & down - she slowly pulled it down over her head to where I could only see her face and said, "Yes . . . please don't tell Daddy."

Well, of course I told him and she has told him too. It was a sweet moment & something we'll treasure about her.

Of course, Sophie chimed in at some point and said, " You can't kiss Peter! You're not married to him!"
"That's exactly right, Sophie!!" Daddy
