I try to avoid talking about world "going ons" on this site, but one hit home today & I had to share. I haven't watched J&K+8 in a while for two reasons: 1) Kate drives me nuts (and too be really honest, if we're pointing fingers in this whole situation, mine would be pointed directly at her!)and 2) we don't have cable, so we don't get TLC. But this morning after I dropped the girls off at school the radio dj's played a clip of Kate from last nights episode. She is talking about their (her + the 8) beach trip to NC (not far from my house!) In the clip, she is talking about how the whole time they were at the beach, the kids constantly asked her where their Daddy was & why he wasn't there. Maybe I was just emotional this morning but I cried. I was heartbroken, not for the two selfish adults in the situation, but for the 8 little lives that have been torn apart by their parents greed. My twin girls are only a few months younger than the 6, so maybe that's why it bothers me so much. Also, we do everything as a family. Really everything! It would destroy S & E if their Daddy wasn't apart of everything we did. I guess that's why it got to me. I could hear them asking the same questions & wonder what in the world is going on! Wouldn't any smart, logical person turn off the cameras already & try to salvage what is left of this family? So there's my rant about the Gosselin gang. That's all I'll say about it, I promise. Oh, and it makes me grateful for my patient, loving husband who I know is in this for the long haul :)
