around here . . .

We have this HUGE azalea bush on the side of our house. Two years ago we had an awful freeze & it hasn't bloomed since. But this year, it's back! It is a beautiful site to see each morning when I get Deacon out of his bed. I shot these pics in the early morning, just as the sun was coming up. (you can click on the collage to make is larger)

Deacon is such a climber! This is where I found him the other morning, finishing Sophie's waffle! And check out that new hat!! Go Yankees! There are also a few of his 1 year pics (yes, he is 15 months old & I'm just getting around to taking them) He wasn't being very cooperative!





Okay, this is the greatest book ever! If you haven't read it, you must head to the library or buy it, I promise you'll love it!!
We had a death in the Tharpe house this past week . . our beloved caterpillar. Drawing a picture of him made things a little easier :) I love this picture of Sophie-- can you tell she's been crying? How innocent.
