Yet, here is a brief insight to the Tharpe world over the last week.
Deacon is getting over his second ear infection. Yuck! We are really hoping that these will not become a regular for him. If so, the doctors will probably start taking with us about tubes. Lets just cross that bridge when we get there.
Other than that, he is thriving! He is SUCH a happy baby & a flirt!! He is rolling about, sitting for brief periods of time and loving his cereal & bananas. He loves to be in my arms, loves to watch Brock in whatever he is doing and thinks that Sophie & Ella are live entertainment.
Brock made us all blueberry pancakes on Father's Day weekend.

This is the view from the window over our sink. Our home is old, tiny, falling apart and I complain about it way more than I should. But the other day as I looked out the window, this is what I saw. At that moment, I wasn't thinking about more space, leaky pipes or old carpet, I was thanking God for a roof over my head, an air conditioner that works, food in the cupboard & a home with a view. Thank you God for those thin moments during our days when things are simple, even if for just a moment.
