brief update . . .

Not much time for a long, detailed update this month, so here's a brief summary so far. We traveled to Mars Hill, NC for Derick's graduation from Mars Hill College. (pictures below) It was a short, but great weekend for us all, especially the girls who were so happy to spend some time with their cousin Jonah. We are all so proud of Uncle D! The following day, Mother's Day, we had baby dedication at church which, of course, included our little Deacon. We've been busy around here with some spring cleaning-- packing up the winter clothes & preparing the backyard for summer fun! Brock has had much fun with his new toy . . a new weed eater! You know you are growing up when these things are fun to you! That's the month so far -- we're planning a camping trip next week and then it will be beach time the following! Check back for some updates & pics from those adventures, since they are sure to be just that!!

The latest around the Tharpe house . . Nerf Wars! Of course, Sophie & Ella's came complete with a vest & glasses. To them, it's just another step closer to being a Gladiator!(which is back on Monday nights! NBC 8:00pm)
